FRANZISCA WILCKEN trained in fashion design in Berlin before coming to England to train on the Motley Theatre Design Course.  Previous design work includes Medea by Corneille for the Schlossparktheatre in Potsdam and a short film, Killing Homes, directed by A. Flietner, shown in Köln.  She was recently awarded the Linbury Prize for Stage Design and has been commissioned to design at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.
