William, on leaving LAMDA, joined the RSC, where he appeared in Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and A Clockwork Orange. He played Orpheus in Anouilh's Eurydice for Chichester, Dorian Gray in The Picture of Dorian Gray for the Gate Dublin, in The Deep Blue Sea for the Manchester Royal Exchange, The Madness of George III for the RNT and productions for Derby Playhouse, the Palace Theatre Watford and Clwyd Theatr Cymru. He has appeared in many fringe productions including House of the Lynx and Hunting Scenes from Lower Bavaria. He recently toured with Dick Barton, Secret Agent and was in Boyband in the West End. He has appeared in The Mrs Bradley Mysteries on TV, The Anarchist's AGM on film and in several radio plays.
