Rules of Engagement was a pilot for a crime thriller which was set in the distant future. Their future saw crime totally running rampant, way out of control. And the Home Office itself, had become so powerful, that the representatives of the law were now almost as dangerous as the criminals, and in many instances resorting to using the criminals very own techniques. So a new squad was formed, an elite, all-powerful-crimebusting squad, to set things right and put the meaning back into justice. Stephen's character's name was Gary.
It was made by Yorkshire Televison, and televised on ITV in UK on 24 April 1995, from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Running time was 60 minutes. Unfortunately, it was not picked up as a series.
